Apperson at Elwood Haynes home
I was ask by Tim Rivers (Curator of the Elwood Haynes Museum) to bring the Apperson on Sunday July 6th. He wanted to take pictures of the Apperson with the Haynes home as the backdrop. Below are the pictures that were taken by Tim, Larry & Cheryl Nierzwick and myself. Some turned out to be postcard quality, I used one of them and have ordered postcards, what a setting for pictures.
Tim shot a video as we drove through Highland Park. He called it Riding in a piece of history it has its own page. The attached story, written by Tim, was also in The Pioneer Auto Club's publication The Wheel Spoke.
I can not thank Tim enough for kindness and help also for the Haynes and Apperson information from the museum's archives which he put on a CD for me. He was also instrumental in my car being the feature car for the parades.
