Gollner Apperson
This a 1923 Apperson owned by Bob & Rosaline Gollner.
As some of you know the Apperson was not running when I took it to Kokomo. Bob allowed Don and I to bring the car over to his house and he spent three hours working on getting it started.
Turned out when I had the motor apart I got the Magneto timing off so we (he) had to keep moving it until we hit upon the right timing, it's marked now. In the mean time one of the backfires from the incorrect timing split the muffle wide open.
I cannot thank Bob enough his hard work it made my trip, having the Apperson running was very important to me. All he wanted was to drive the Apperson. Thanks to him I was able to drive in the parades and give rides ever where I went at least 40 or 50 if not more.
