Kokomo Haynes Apperson Reenactment
I was ask to be lead car for the reenactment of Haynes and Apperson historic demonstration of their Pioneer automobile along Pumpkinvine Pike in Kokomo, on July 4, 1894. My passenger was Paul Wyman, who organized the Haynes Apperson Festival. I drove Paul to Foster Park to kick off the Haynes Apperson Festival.
The car was also on display under the Howard County Automotive Hall of Fame tent. At night Jay Meck who owns Crazy J's Ice Cream Bar allowed several of the cars to be parked in a large garage he owns next to his Ice Cream shop.
